Kym Farmen has been making plant medicine since 2001 and began Little Thistle in 2007. She has a handcrafted pharmacy line and is committed to the science and art of herbology. She has completed programs at California School of Herbal Studies (Forestville, CA), Living Awareness Institute (Vacaville, CA), Intuitive Way (Walnut Creek, CA), and Birthingway College of Midwifery (Portland, OR) and is pursuing a Master Herbalist Certification from Australasian College of Health Sciences (Portland, OR.)

Kym has also received her BA in Photography and Art History from San Francisco State University, a Certificate in Museum Studies from CSU Hayward, and is a MA/PhD Candidate in Media and Communication at European Graduate School.

She also enjoys DJing, The Cameos, filmmaking, sailing, traveling and spending time with her lover other, plants and animals.
